This role is field-based and focused on repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of a wide variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. You won't be micromanaged, but we do expect strong communication, accountability, and pride in your work. Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems</li><li>Install and replace equipment and perform preventive maintenance</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and manuals</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the team</li><li>Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA standards</li><li>Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>At least 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service (not project management)</li><li>Ability to work independently across a variety of equipment: rooftop units, chillers, ice machines, etc.</li><li>Comfortable working in a mobile, field-based role with daily travel</li><li>Familiarity with commercial wiring diagrams and diagnostic tools</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record</li><li>Strong communication skills and commitment to honesty and follow-through</li><li>Physically capable of performing HVAC field work</li></ul> Compensation and benefits<ul><li>Full time position, 40-hour workweek</li><li>Competitive hourly rate at $30 to $40, based on experience</li><li>Overtime opportunities available</li><li>100% employer-paid health insurance for employees</li><li>Dental and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Up to 3 weeks paid vacation, plus holidays and PTO</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Tool replacement program</li><li>Educational assistance for continued HVAC training</li><li>Company phone and vehicle (depending on assignment)</li><li>Consistent, year-round work and no winter slowdowns</li></ul> St. Johns Air is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
